Welcome

From all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Annapolis Park with the Bishops and Deacons, we welcome you. Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, (Philippians 1:1-2).

We are non-denominational, (1 Corinthian 1:10; Philippians 3:16). We believe that Christ built only one church, (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 4:4-6). That Christ is the head of that one true church, (Ephesians 1:22-23). That one true church is the Church of Christ, (Romans 16:16).

We speak where The Holy Bible speaks and are silent where The Holy Bible is silent, (Deuteronomy 29:29; Revelation 22:18-19). Therefore, at Annapolis Park, women do not serve as evangelist/preachers, (1Timothy 2:11-12); Elders (1 Timothy 3:2); nor Deacons (1 Timothy 3:12). Mechanical instruments of music are not used in worship services, (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 2:12; Hebrews 13:15). Nor are praise teams allowed, for the Bible commands us to do all things decently and in order, (1 Corinthians 14:40). In addition, each saint is commanded to sing praises to God for themselves, no one can do that for you, (Colossians 3:16).

We assemble for corporate worship on the first day of the week, each week, (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2). At which time we observe The Lord’s Table, (Acts 20:7;1 Corinthians 11:23-26), by partaking of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine, grape juice (not strong drink/alcohol, Proverbs 20:1; Ephesians 5:18). Prayers are offered to God, (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We sing praises to our God, (Colossians 3:16). The word of God is preached, (Acts 20:7) and the fellowship of the saints are rich, (Acts 2:42).

Our Ministry

The ministry at The Annapolis Park Church of Christ is the same as that of the first century church of Christ and will never change. The ministry of our Lord’s church is three (3) fold as he has commanded it to be; (1) Teach the gospel of Christ to all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of The Holy Ghost, (Matthew 28:18-20); (2) Edification of the body of Christ with emphasis on the local body, (Ephesians 4:11-12). This is done primarily by teaching the word of God along with other initiatives designed to grow, strengthen and fortify the faith of the members…

Our Teachings

At the Annapolis Park Church of Christ we be believe that God has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). He has given us these things through His inspired Word, the Holy Bible. We believe as it says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and that it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
